Abstract
PURPOSE:To secure the superior working performance and sufficient safety by raising and lowering the body of a gondola, etc. by a sucker plate, held on the wall surface of a building, etc. CONSTITUTION:An endless chain 8 is supported in shitable ways through a guide rail 7 forming an elliptical orbit in the elevation direction, along the side part of a gondola body 4 which is held in free elevation along the side surface 9 of a building 2 by a winch. A suction pressure generated by the operation of a vacuum pump 39 is supplied through a valve 27 onto a sucker plate 14 installed through a rod 13 onto the chain 8, and said sucker plate 14 is adsorbed onto the wall surface 9. When the body 4 is raised by the drive of the winch, each sucker plate 14 shifts together with the chain 8 along the orbit of the guide rail 7, and the sucker plate 14 on the wall surface 9 side is kept in the adsorbed state by the valve 27 which is opened and closed by the shift. Therefore, the working performance in cleaning the wall surface 9 is improved, and the high safety can be secured.
