Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a shade from being damaged by controlling the longitudinal movement of the shade when the shade is titled up in a sun roof device equipped with both a lid and the shade. CONSTITUTION:When No.2 moving shoe 53 is moved by a cable to the left from the fully opened position of a lid 9, a guide pin 51 comes up to a tilt-up guide 55c from the fully closed guide section 55a of a guide groove 55 by way of a rotating guide section 55b, a pressing stem 57 comes off concurrently from a control plate 69, and No.2 link stem 35 allows the side of a rear pin P5 to be raised with fulcrum at the pin P6 so as to be in a tilt-up condition. In this case, the rear end of the movable section 67 of a shade 59 is raised so as to be tilted up by a locking piece 19 engaged with the engaging pin 21 of a hanging arm 17 for engaging a hook 39 with a stopper 74 concurrently. Accordingly, the afterward movement of the shade is prevented. This constitution may prevent the shade from being damaged.
