Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify a scanning circuit and array performance by allowing 1st and 2nd selector switch means to select terminals to be selected in parallel in the same unit period, connecting sequentially unit elements in the array between the selector terminals of both the selector switch means thereby scanning the array. CONSTITUTION:n-set of unit elements 5k in the array 50 are scanned sequentially in each unit period by the switch operation in both the selector switch means 10, 20. That is, both the selector switch means 10, 20 have two selector terminals and terminals to be selected for the switches except in the on-operation are always connected to a ground point E, then any unit element in the array is connected to ground via the 1st and 2nd terminals just before it is being scanned. For example, in the state just before the 2nd light sensor in the array is scanned, the 1st terminal of the 2nd light sensor is connected to the ground point E via the switch 12 and the 2nd terminal is connected thereto via the switch 22 respectively. Thus, the dispersion in the output signal S0 depending on the arranged position of the light sensor in the array is precluded.
