PURPOSE:To enhance deposition speed of a plasma polymerized film and sensitivity of a photosensitive body by using a specified plasma polymerized film. CONSTITUTION:The plasma polymerized film (A) to be used for forming the intended photosensitive body is composed essentially of carbon and hydrogen elements and its Raman spectra have a peak (I) near 1,350cm<-1> and a peak (II) near 1,550cm<-1> and an integrated intensity ratio I/II of <=10, and if said ratio is >10, favorable transferability is not obtained. The I/II value can be enhanced by means, such as raising pressure in the plasma chemical vapor deposition method, and it can be lowered by means of using a monomer having many double bonds as a starting material and the like methods, and said film (A) can be used for the electric charge transfer layer 2 of the functionally separated photosensitive body, and for an overcoat layer or an undercoat layer, too.
