Abstract

PURPOSE:To contrive the normal maintenance of bidirectional communication in a transmission line except a section in which a transmission is disconnected, by sending out a subordinate synchronization clock to a preceding station, in each repeater station. CONSTITUTION:The output of a subordinate synchronization oscillator 6 of a repeater station 2, synchronized by a clock from an original oscillator 5 of a reference original oscillation terminal station 1 is sent to a repeater station 3, and also, returned to the terminal station 1 and synchronized with a subordinate synchronization oscillator 9. A subordinate synchronization oscillator 7 of the repeater station 3 is synchronized by the output of the oscillator 6 in the same way, but its output is sent out to the last terminal station 4 in the same way, and also, sent back to the repeater station 2, and synchronized with a subordinate synchronization oscillator 10. The output of subordinate synchronization oscillator 8 of the last terminal station 4 is sent back as it is to the repeater station 3, and synchronized with a subordinate synchronization oscillator 11 therein. Accordingly, the oscillators 5-11 become all periods, that is, the form with which the whole system has been synchronized. In such a way, even when a transmission line has been disconnected between some stations, the bidirectional communication between its preceding station and the succeeding station can be executed normally.
