Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate fitting operation and to improve the airtightness reliability of the connection part of a pressure switch to a fluid passage by fixing the pressure detection part of the pressure switch to the fluid passage through a direct packing and forming an output terminal part of an elastic body. CONSTITUTION:The pressure detection part 18 of the pressure switch 12' is held airtight by the packing 19 and fixed directly to a gas meter 1 with a screw 20 to communicate with a valve chamber 9 through a through hole 21, thereby detecting an abnormal pressure drop in a gas passage. The output terminal part 22 of the switch 12' is made of the elastic material such as phosphor bronze and this is soldered to a printed board 5'. Consequently, the fitting operation of the board 5' is facilitated and the airtightness reliability of the fitting part between the switch 12' and meter 1 is improved. Further, even if the board 5' shifts in fitting position within the range of variance of parts, no unreasonable force is applied to the switch 12'.
