Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve connection strength at a terminal part, reduce thermal effects to resin packings, and improve leak resistance and gas tightness resistance by fixing the outer circumference of the circular head part of a hollow rivet with the inner circumference of a terminal cap. CONSTITUTION:A hollow rivet 1 provided with a circular head part 1a at the top and a circular protrusion 1b under it is fixed at a sealing cover 5 through packings 2a, 2b and a washer 3. For a terminal cap 6 provided to engage with the circular head part 1a of the hollow rivet 1, its inner circumference is fixed with the outer circumference of the circular head part 1a of the hollow rivet 1 by spot welding. The circular head part 1a of the hollow rivet 1 can thus be activated as a supporting body to force applied from the side of the terminal cap 6, and deterioration of the packings 2a, 2b by heat can be prevent when the terminal cap 6 is welded.
