Abstract
PURPOSE:To sufficiently execute cleaning, and also, to prevent the detecting surface from being flawed, by providing a long-sized part whose flexural rigidity is small and a short-sized part whose flexural rigidity is large so that they are adjacent to each other in the rotational direction of the rotation axis, on a cleaning elastic plate. CONSTITUTION:The cleaning elastic plate 33 is made of a polyester film, and a long- sized plate 31 of 0.05mm thick whose flexural rigidity is small, and a short-sized plate 32 of 0.1mm thick whose flexural rigidity is large are superposed, at the rear side in the rotational direction, and at the front side in the rotational direction, respectively. Also, only the long-sized plate 31 slidingly contacts a detecting surface 28 by following up a rotation of a rotation axis 11, and the short size plate 32 is adjacent to the detecting surface 28 but does not come into contact. First of all, the short size plate 32 removes a developer accumulated on a sensor 27 by large flexural rigidity, and subsequently, the tip part of the long-sized plate 31 removes the developer on the detecting surface 28, while slidingly contacting the detecting surfaces 28. In such a way, the short-sized part 31 comes into soft contact with the detecting surface and does not flaw the detecting surface, and the short-sized part 32 generates no buckling, therefore, not deformed for a long period of time, and a large quantity of toners can always be removed.
