Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to make a gas to be measured branch at an accurate ratio invariably, by a construction wherein a point located on the upstream side of a point of connection of a gas channel for dilution with a first pipe and being close to this point and a point being closer onto the down- stream side than a branching part of the gas channel are connected by a second pipe. CONSTITUTION:A part of a gas G to be measured flowing through a gas channel 4 gets into a gas channel 7 for dilution through one through hole of a branching part 5 and a first pipe 14 and joins air (g) therein, and a certain flow rate thereof is sucked in by a constant flow rate device 12. A part of the air (g) flowing through the channel 7 is supplied onto the downstream side of the branching part 5 through a second pipe 15. Thereby a pressure in the through hole of the branching part 5 connected to the pipe 14 becomes equal to a pressure in other through holes, and thus the gas G can be made to branch constantly at a prescribed ratio. The gas G made to branch at the prescribed branching ratio in this way reaches an NOx meter 13 via a filter 11, the constant flow rate device 12, etc. and is submitted to a prescribed analysis.
