Abstract
PURPOSE: To avoid damaging caused by boring into a monolithic refractory lining by a method wherein after the casting and hardening of a monolithic refractory, one end of a bolt is inserted into a heat insulating material to be screwed down on an open hole part of an anchor brick or a support brick while the other end thereof is screwed down by a nut through a washer to support the heat insulating material. CONSTITUTION: An anchor brick 3 having an open hole part 7 threaded at the center part thereof is fixed on a steel pipe 1 installed on the ceiling of a heating furnace. After the mounting of a mold, light weight castables 6 and 5 are cast sequentially and a heat insulating board 4 is arranged thereon. Four sheets of the heat insulating material are piled up on the anchor brick and one end of a bolt 8 is inserted to be screwed down while the other end of the bolt is screwed down by a nut 11 through a washer 10 to fix and support the heat insulating material 9. A retainer is fastened by mortar or an adhesive material to support the heat insulating material 9. The bolts, nuts and the like are made of ceramics thereby further improving heat resisting performance.
