Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the performance of a compressor by forming at least one of the vane or roller of a rotary compressor with an iron sintered alloy uniformly dispersed with ceramic powder. CONSTITUTION:The roller 8 and vane 9 of a rotary compressor 1 are formed with an iron sintered alloy dispersed with silicon carbide, and the roller 8 and vane 9 are held by a main bearing 6 and an auxiliary bearing 7 from both sides at an adequate clearance. The ceramic content in the sintered alloy forming the roller 8 and vane 9 is set to 0.1-10wt.%, and the ceramic grain size is set to 0.1-3mum. Since the size change of the sintered alloy due to the elapsed time is small according to this constitution of the rotary compressor 1, the clearance between the roller 8 and vane 9 and the main bearing 5 and auxiliary bearing 7 can be made small. The leakage of the high-compression gas in a cylinder 4 is reduced, and the performance of the compressor can be improved.
