Abstract
PURPOSE:To make a device thin and small in size by arranging tape guide driving mechanisms at intermediate height between a tape guide group which draws a tape out horizontally and positions it and a tape guide group which draws the tape out slantingly and positions it. CONSTITUTION:The tape guide driving members 31 and 33 which are formed arcuately are arranged at the intermediate height between the entrance-side tape guide group which consists of a guide roller 17 and a slanting pin 18 and draws the magnetic tape 6 out of a cassette 3 horizontally and positions and holds it by a tape guide positioning mechanism 28 and the exit-side tape guide group which consists of a guide roller 19 and a slanting pin 20 and draws the magnetic tape 6 out slantingly and holds it by the tape guide positioning mechanism 28. Consequently, the rotary surfaces of the tape guide driving members 31 and 33 are constituted at the intermediate height between both tape guide groups, and the whole device is low in height and reducible in plane area.
