Abstract

PURPOSE:To swiftly and uniformly mix constituents of an adhesive consisting of at least two components separated each other by giving ultrasonic oscillation. CONSTITUTION:The adhesive 2 consisting of at least two components separated each other is received in a receiving vessel 1 which is received in a cooling vessel 3 so that the adhesive 2 is cooled by the water in the cooling vessel 3 circulated by a cooling water circulation pump 4. Piezoelectric elements 5 and a horn 6 provided on the upper part of the receiving vessel 3 constitute an ultrasonic oscillation body 8 vibrated by the electric signal from an ultrasonic oscillator 7. In this constitution, the adhesive of epoxy-polyamide resin, for instance, is charged in the receiving vessel 1 cooled in advance, after the resin is slightly mixed in the ratio of one to one by a spatula for about 30sec. Then, the ultrasonic oscillator 7 is put into operation to give ultrasonic oscillation for about 15sec to mix the adhesive. The obtained adhesive is uniformly mixed regardless of the mixing of short time and has a high adhesive strength.
