Abstract
PURPOSE: To effectively control pivoting of a control sleeve by engaging with a governor lever at a first coupling link and with an adjusting piston at a second coupling link and making adjustable perpendicular to the plunger axis. CONSTITUTION: A first coupling link is formed from an inclined groove 30 and a spherical head 29, and a second coupling link is formed from a vertical groove 40 and a spherical bolt 39. The spherical bolt 39 can be adjusted perpendicular to the pump plunger 11 axis in relation to the rotation number of the internal combustion engine, and a governor lever 27 is engaged with the inclined groove 30 in the control sleeve 12 at the spherical head 29. Furthermore, the spherical bolt 39 is connected to an adjusting piston 37, to one end face of which the fuel pressure within a depressurization chamber is charged, and to the piston 37, an adaptation spring 43 is fixed. Thereby, as the control sleeve can be controlled, the pressure from the depressurization chamber can be utilized and as a tangential engagement is performed, only a small amount of force is required for adjustment.
