Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain corrosion-protective sheet and tape having attractive appearance and superior handling property, by laminating a porous protective sheet on one side of a sheet or tape to which a pasty corrosion-protective composition is provided and also laminating a weather-resisting plastic sheet on the other side of the above sheet or tape. CONSTITUTION:A pasty corrosion-protective composition, such as petrolatum containing tannic acid, is provided to both sides of a porous material, such as unwoven fabric and foamed body, by which a corrosion-protective sheet body or a corrosion-protective tape body is prepared. Subsequently, a porous protective sheet is laminated at least to one side of the above body and also a weather-resisting plastic sheet is laminated to the other side. As the above porous protective sheet, woven or unwoven fabric of natural or synthetic fiber base material is suitably used. Further, as the weather- resisting plastic sheet, that of thermoplastic resin, such as acrylic resin, and/or rubber is used. It is preferable to form both sheets mentioned above to a size identical with that of the above body or to a size larger by about 1-10mm than that of the above body to cover the whole surface of the above body. By this method, the corrosion- protective sheet and tape free from soil due to surface stickiness and suitable for use in the outdoor corrosion protection of metallic structure, etc., can be obtained.
