Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to control in a stabilized manner by employing a linear induction motor for a power source of a departure-arrival forwarding device, detecting a current of each of divided coils on the primary side of the linear induction motor as a sensor for the secondary side, and monitoring the change in the power factor of the detected current. CONSTITUTION:A cable 4 routed between a high speed (drive) pulley 3 rotated with an induction motor 1 and a driven side pulley and is circularly operated is released, when it reaches a terminal A, from a cable gripper 7' which is run by a lower roller 8 on a guide rail 6. In this case, primary sides 20B of the linear induction motor of deceleration and acceleration sides are arranged parallel to the guide rail 6 on both departure and arrival sides of the terminal A while a secondary side 21 is arranged on the top surface side of the cable gripper 7'. The primary side 20B above is divided into multiple coils 24a-24k. The currents flowing through the coils 24a-24k are detected with current sensors 27a-27k to detect the position of the secondary side 21 and to perform various controls.
