この考案は、ベルトプレスにおける汚泥の供給
装置の改良に関し、特に、この考案は、ある程度
脱水されて流動性の悪い汚泥の供給に卓効を奏す
る装置を提案するものである。従来のベルトプレ
スの汚泥の供給装置としては、重力脱水ゾーンに
設けたトラフやゴム板上に流動性を有する汚泥を
供給して、これを左右に流動させ、布巾一杯に
拡散させていた。この方式は、流動性を有する汚
泥には有効であるが、ある程度、脱水されて流動
性の悪い汚泥の場合は、全く拡散させることがで
きない。ベルトプレスでは、供給する汚泥の濃度
が高い程(すなわち流動性が悪い)、高脱水が可
能であることはよく知られているが、上述のよう
に、流動性が悪い場合には、布全面に均一な汚
泥の供給は不可能である。この考案は、このよう
な濃度の高い汚泥を簡便、且つ、均一に供給でき

その全幅に渉つて切欠き、ホツパー3の前壁に上
下動自在な調節板5を設けると共に、ホツパー3
の両側壁の内側に横動可能な調節板10を設け
て、その切欠部4の高さと、幅を調節自在とした
ものである。第2図はその調節機構を示し、図中
符号5は調節板であり、引揚レバー6に吊杆7で
連結してある。そして、引揚レバー6は、ホツパ
ー3に設けた案内板8に沿つて上下動できるよう
にしてある。また、ホツパー3の左右の下縁およ
び走行後方側下縁には、ゴム等で構成したシール
材9が取付けてあり、これらが、下布2に摺接
するようにしてある。さらに、第3図は、汚泥の
供給巾を調節する機構の一例を示し、符号10は
その上縁部がホツパーに枢着された調節板、11
はその調節ボルトである。そして、調節ボルト1
1を締め込むことにより、調節板10の下端を内
方向に移動できるようにしてある。尚、第4図
は、汚泥の破砕機構を備えたホツパーを示すもの
で、極めて、流動性の悪い汚泥や、ブロツク状に
なつた汚泥の場合に用いる。図示のものは、破砕

を手動でしているようにしているが、これを汚泥
濃度の変動に連動して、モーター動力等で自動的
