Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a photopolymerizable compsn. nearly independent of oxygen during imagewise exposure, useful for an original plate for printing, a photoresist, etc., and giving a photoset image, by using a specified monomer having an ethylenic unsatd. group, a specified photopolymn. initiator and a specified org. boron compd. CONSTITUTION:A monomer having at least one ethylenic unsatd. group which can be photopolymerized under active rays of light, a photopolymn. initiator represented by formula I and an org. boron compd. represented by formula II are used to obtain a photopolymerizable compsn. nearly independent of oxygen during imagewise exposure, useful for an original plate for printing, a photoresist, etc., and giving a photoset image. In formula I, R may be aryl. In formula II, each of R1-R4 is alkyl, aralkyl, etc., at least one of R1-R4 is alkyl and X<+> may be an alkali metal.
