Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the output of one detection coil from being affected to drop in voltage, etc., even if the other coil is short-circuited by composing one magnetic circuit of each detection coil. CONSTITUTION:Two 1st and 2nd magnetic circuit share a fixed tooth 5 and a rotary tooth 2. Then a coil 9 detects variation of magnetic flux passing the yokes 5, 7, and 4 of a left-side magnetic circuit and a permanent magnet 3 and it is outputted as an AC voltage signal from a 1st output terminal 11. Similarly, a coil 10 detects variation of magnetic flux passing the yokes 6, 7, and 4 of a right-side magnetic circuit and the permanent magnet 3 and it is outputted as an AC voltage signal from a 2nd output terminal 12. Thus, each detection coil constitutes one magnetic circuit, so even if one coil is short- circuited, the output of the other coil is outputted as a normal signal without being affected to drop in voltage, etc.
