パルス状の電気信号に変換する第１、第２の光検
出器と、上記第１、第２の光検出器から出力され
る２つのパルス信号の時間間隔により目標までの
距離を計数する計数回路と、電源である電池とを
備えた距離測定装置において上記レーザ発振器と
上記電池との間に上記レーザ発振器で発生した熱
を上記電池に伝えるヒートパイプを設けたことを
