Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent a winding conductor from generating copper powder by providing a holding layer buried with lubricant in a slot or a hole on a surface in contact with the winding conductor of a slot insulator. CONSTITUTION:A winding conductor 2 for forming a field winding is contained in the slot 1 of a rotary electric machine rotor. The conductor 2 is stacked and contained, and an interlayer insulator 3 is provided therebetween. A slot insulator 4 for ground insulating is provided between the wall face of the slot and the conductor 2. A holding layer 5 is provided on the surface of the insulator 4 at the side of the conductor. A fine slot 6 is formed on the layer 5, and slidable high lubricant 7, such as tetrafluoride grease is buried in the groove 6. Thus, the friction of the conductor is eliminated to prevent copper powder from generating.
