Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the spacer of a gas insulated equipment without lowering a charge insulating performance, by forming the cubic shape of the spacer along electric force lines generated at the vessel of earthing potential and a conductor.
CONSTITUTION: The charge of a spacer 3 due to a DC electric-field is generated by electric charge generated in insulating gas 2 and moved in the gas along electric force lines and stored on the surface of the spacer 3. Accordingly, the electric charge is to be generated according to a normal direction component electric-field among electric-fields generated on the surface of the spacer 3. Then, by forming the cubic shape of the spacer 3 along electric force lines generated at the vessel 1 of earthing potential and a conductor 4, the normal direction electric-field component on the surface of the spacer 3 can be avoided, and as a result, the spacer 3 is not electrically charged.
