Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify a current limiter and to enhance the economy by alternately laminating a plurality of superconductive elements and insulators, and electrically connected all the elements in series to form the limiter. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of superconducting elements 1 and insulators 3 are alternately laminated. The elements 1 are electrically connected by conductors 4 in series, terminals 5 are provided at both ends, as a current limiter. Thus, the entirety can be simplified while obtaining sufficient length of the superconductor. When the laminate of the elements 1 and the insulators 3 is clamped with bolts and nuts, even if the entirety is not replaced even if it is partly malfunctioned, only the improper part may be replaced economically.
