Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain easily and inexpensively an excellent electronic element having an insulating protective coating by forming onto an insulating substrate surface an which is deposited conductive material an insulating protective coating whose thickness is within a certain range and has a virtually uniform coating thickness. CONSTITUTION:On a surface of an electric insulating substrate, onto which a conductive material 2 is deposited and therefore forms a part thereof, an insulating protective coating 6' whose thickness is within the range of 3 to 30mum having a virtually uniform thickness distribution therein is formed. On the surface of an electronic component element, wherein the conductive material 2 is deposited on the surface of the electric insulating substrate, the insulating protective coating 6' is formed by depositing glass powder in accordance with the cataphoresis method and melting it.
