Abstract

PURPOSE:To shorten the time needed for the synchronizing application by using a starting speed setting device to increase the value set by a conventional speed setting device in terms of an exponential function. CONSTITUTION:A starting speed setting device 50 is used together with an exponential function device 52 which works with an addition start signal SA produced when the rotational frequency of a master device reaches the level set by a speed setting device 10, and an adder 54. When the master device is started, i.e., the zero state of the rotational frequency of the master device reaches a rated level by 100%, the output of the device 50 that varies in terms of an exponential function is added to the fixed output obtained by a conventional speed setting device at a proper time point. Thus the target design value of control is properly changed and a control system can follow said design value. Thus it is possible to substantially eliminate the overshoot of the output deviation and to shorten the time needed for the synchronizing application of the master device owing to said improvement of the response speed.
