Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a counter circuit which decides an ignition time and to improve an ingition time control, by allowing a micro computer to issue a direct ingition instruction at an ignition stage. CONSTITUTION:A micro computer 5 is cleared by a power source voltage detecting circuit 3 when turning on a power source, and simultaneously a rotation signal of a rotation sensor 4 is received as an input to an inner counter of the micro computer 5 to carry out a program in synchronization with a rotation reference signal of the rotation sensor 4. The micro computer 5 must be operated to issue an ignition instruction at an ignition stage, and it must also be worked to output an electricity- charging start angle information. And a counter circuit 15 computes the rotation angle signal from the rotation sensor 4 according to the ignition instruction issued from the micro computer 5, and a time, at which value coincides with the electricity-charging start angle information, is established as an electricity-charging start period of an ignition coil.
