Abstract
PURPOSE:To convert a change of flow quantity of fluid into an arbitrary pressure change by providing inlet and outlet pipes along tangential directions of both chambers partitioned by an orifice plate opening an orifice hole. CONSTITUTION:An orifice plate 3, which opens an orifice hole 3a in the central part, divides a main unit 1 into two swirl chambers 2a, 2b vertically in a cylinder axial center 1a. The main unit 1 provides an inlet pipe 5 along the tangential direction of the one swirl chamber 2a and an outlet pipe 6 along the tangential direction of the other swirl chamber 2b. An inflow of fluid from the inlet pipe 5 is allowed to flow into the swirl chamber 2a in the inlet side, and the fluid, generating a strong swirl, is allowed to flow through the swirl chamber 2b in the outlet side from the orifice hole 3a provided in the center. Here generated low pressure is taken out by a pressure pickup pipe 7, and the pressure can be converted into a large change of pressure by connecting the generated low pressure to the action of the other fluid disk.
