Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the recovery rate of a product when a specified gaseous component is separated and recovered from a gaseous mixture, by regenerating an adsorbent under ordinary pressure with blown steam. CONSTITUTION:When CO2 is removed from gas contg. CH4 and CO2 or H2 is separated from coke oven gas, a PAS system in which a pressure raising stage, an adsorbing stage, a pressure reducing stage and a regenerating stage are repeated is adopted and an adsorbent is regenerated under ordinary pressure with steam blown at 100-130 deg.C in the regenerating stage. The adsorbent can be regenerated without using product gas and the recovery rate of the product is increased.
