Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase efficiency and to make space saving possible by opening the intakes of blowers which supply air in a fuel cell or a fuel reformer in the inner space of a power generating system, and by installing an outside air intake in a part of the power generating system. CONSTITUTION:Intakes 5a, 5b of blowers 5, 6 which supply air to a fuel cell 1 or a fuel reformer 2 are opened within a power generating system, and an outside air intake is installed in a part of the power generating system. The outside air is supplied to a fuel cell 1 or a fuel reformer 2 after it is passed through the inner space 10 of the power generating system. Auxiliary units or electrical components within the power generating system are cooled with fresh air to prevent overheating. The air heated after cooling operation is utilized in the fuel cell 1 or the fuel reformer 2. Efficiency is increased and space saving is made possible.
