Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to measure accurately the switching time of a switching equipment by making the width of the output pulse signal from a control signal detector longer than the time period required to complete the operation from the time of command output and shorter than the high speed reclosing time as for a circuit breaker and longer than the time period required to complete the operation from the time of command output as for a disconnector so as to eliminate the false output due to a ripple of the control signal. CONSTITUTION:In a circuit breaker reclosed in high speed i.e. operated continuously after a disconnection, a command for continuous operation is outputted after disconnecting the cutoff current when the cutoff is almost completed. Therefore a control signal detector 8 is possibly misoperated by a ripple of the control signal after the 1st cutoff operation. By making the range of the width of the output pulse from the control signal detector longer than the time period required to complete the operation from the time of the command output and shorter than the standard reclosing time in high speed reclosing operation, it can be made possible to detect the control signal without the disturbance of the ripple generated when the command is cut off. Thereby the reliaility of the switching time measurement can be improved.
