Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce a gain and an offset voltage by determining the transmission characteristics of a circuit independently of the capacity value of a holding capacitor for determining resistance for determining the gain of the circuit, holding characteristics and the level of the offset voltage. CONSTITUTION:A compensating capacitor CC is connected in parallel to a resistor R1 connected between the input terminal IN of an ordinary sample and hold circuit and a switch SW. Thereby, a cutoff frequency can be set to a high level by adding the capacitor CC independently of the frequency band of a sample and hold circuit requiring the values of resistors R1, R2 and holding capacitor CH. Consequently, the offset voltage and gain can be reduced and a rapid and highly accurate sample and hold circuit can be obtained.
