Abstract
PURPOSE:To remove defective parts from a process by detecting whether a defect of a shell structure of parts exists or not, by the degree of vacuum at the time of a vacuum adsorption of parts in a carrying process. CONSTITUTION:A vibrator 4 which has been supplied from a parts feeder passes through a linear feeder 10 and reaches a vibrator positioning part 1a, in which by vacuum pressure supplied from a vacuum generator 5, the vibrator 4 is adsorbed to the vibrator positioning part 1a. In such a state, when a defect does not exist in a shell structure of the vibrator 4, an I-shaped groove part 2 and four adsorption holes 3 are closed up entirely by the shell part of the vibrator 4, therefore, the vacuum pressure exceeds a prescribed value, and a signal is not outputted from a vacuum switch 6. On the other hand, if a defect such as a crack, etc. exists in the shell structure, the vacuum pressure does not exceeds the prescribed value due to an adsorption leakage from the defective part, and a signal is outputted from the vacuum switch 6. In such a way, defective parts can be removed from the process.
