Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve weatherability and prevent damage and breakage by alternately laminating hard plates and soft plates to form a laminate structure and covering the peripheral face of the structure with an external skin rubber layer in which recesses are formed in the position in contact with the soft plates. CONSTITUTION: Hard plates 1 having rigidity and soft plates 2 having viscoelasticity are alternately laminated to form a laminate structure 3. The peripheral face of the laminate structure 3 is covered with an external rubber skin layer 6. Recesses 6a having an arcuate section or a shape similar thereto are formed at a position in contact with the soft plates 2 of the external rubber skin layer 6. In this way, weatherability of the laminate structure 3 can by improved and a locally concentrated stress can be reduced by the recesses 6a of the external rubber skin layer 6 and hence, damage and breakage caused by a local strain can be prevented.
