Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition which is markedly controlled in a phenomenon of foaming during microwave crosslinking and excels in crosslinkability, by mixing a crosslinkable chlorinated polyethylene composition with quick lime. CONSTITUTION:The title composition is prepared by mixing 100pts.wt. chlorinated polyethylene (A) with 0.1-5pts.wt. mercaptotriazine (B) (e.g., 1,3,5- trithiocyanuric acid), 0.5-3mol. per mol of component B, of a compound (C) selected from among an amine of a b.p. >=110 deg.C (e.g., n-hexylamine), its organic acid slat or its adduct (e.g., n-butylamine acetate), a diarylguanidine (e.g., diphenylguanidine), a condensate of aniline with butyraldehyde and 2- benzothiazylsulfenamide in which the aminic moiety is primary or secondary [e.g., a compound of the formula (wherein R<4> and R<5> are each a group containing no hetero atom substituent and each H, a 1-12C alkyl, a cycloalkyl or an aralkyl, and R<4> and R<5> are not H atoms simultaneously)] and 1-30pts.wt. quick lime (D).
