Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize the ascent of superconducting transition temperature, by of a multilayered film (superlattice structure) making the structure of superconducting material. CONSTITUTION:On a tungsten substrate (100 deg.C), Y, Ba, Cu and O are vapor- deposited with a mole ratio of 1:2:3:7, by using a molecular beam evaporation system. After deposition of 1000Angstrom , tungusten is likewise vapor-deposited in thickness of 1000Angstrom . This process is repeated ten times, and a sample 1 is obtained for forming a superlattice for ten periods. At the time of depositing a superconducting layer, it must be noticed that the C axis of a crystal is made to coincide with the lamination direction. The sample 1 exhibits superconducting transition at a temperature nearly equal to 87 deg.K, and the critical temperature becomes high. For superconducting material, the following can be used; an oxide deficient type pervoskite structure shown by a formula (CRE1-x2Mx12) CuO3-x or K2NiF4 type structure. In the formula, RE represents the following elements; La, Y, Sy, Yb, Lu, Tm, Dy, Sc, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Ho, Er, etc.
