Abstract

PURPOSE: To apply a spin around a frame axis to a satellite with a simple structure by providing a satellite extruding spring receptacle at a position eccentric to the center of gravity of the spin satellite, and providing a spring between the satellite and a mother spacecraft. CONSTITUTION: A spring 3 is hooked on a mother spacecraft 2 such as a launch vehicle at one end, and it is hooked on a receptacle 5 provided at a position eccentric to a frame axis 4 passing through the center of gravity of a spin satellite 1 at the other end. When a fixing metal 6 is released and the spin satellite 1 is extruded from the mother spacecraft 2 by the spring 3, it is extruded at the position eccentric to the frame axis 4, it is initially rotated in the direction including the frame axis 4, then it is shifted to a spin around the frame axis 4 by the moment of inertia of the spin satellite 1 as time elapses to become the spin satellite 1. The spin satellite 1 is separated from the mother spacecraft 2, and the required spin can be applied to it with a simple structure.
