A holding mechanism for a high-voltage electronic component incorporated in an electronic device includes the high-voltage electronic component, a case to which the high-voltage electronic component is attached, a chassis to which the case is attached, and electrode portions at both ends of the high-voltage electronic component. On the other hand, there is a plate spring in which a C-shaped thin elastic metal plate is further wound into a cylindrical shape, with tongues divided at equal intervals by slits of the same shape from both ends that are in contact with each other under a constant surface pressure. A holding mechanism for a high voltage electronic component, comprising a cylindrical connector having a groove in its inner wall that engages with a leaf spring with a constant surface pressure, and a holder for holding the connector.
