本考案は、家庭用の美顔器に関するものであ

について説明すると、従来の美顔器は水タンク１

をそのフード４の中に入れることにより、顔を蒸
気により洗顔できるような仕組みになつていた。
この場合、水を蒸気にするためにはヒーター２に

めるため数分間を要していた。また、そのために
必要な電力は数百ワツトに達し、電灯線の電力で
しか使用できなかつた。すなわち、従来の美顔器
の欠点は、電気のコンセントのあるところでしか

と、とくに水を使用するのでコンセント等に水が
かからないように注意しなければいけないという

下することにより少量の水を瞬時に気化させるこ
とにより非常に短時間に蒸気の発生を開始できる
ようにしようとするもので、液化ガスを蓄えるガ
スボンベと、液化ガスと空気を混合し触媒により
燃焼させる燃焼装置と、水を蓄える水タンクと、
該燃焼装置により加熱される熱板上に該水タンク
の水を滴下するのを制御する装置を備え、美顔器
本体に取付けられたフエイシヤルマスク内に該熱
板上に滴下された水により生じた蒸気を導入する

第２図に本考案の実施例を示しているので、こ
れについて説明すると、図面中符号６は蒸気発生
室、７は熱板で、この上に滴下孔８を通つた水が
滴下されると蒸気に変わり蒸気発生室６中に充満
して蒸気噴出口２４よりフエイシヤルマスク２１
の空間内に噴出していくようになつている。１３
は液化ガスを蓄えるガスボンベを示し、１４は弁
機構で、この部分を操作することにより液化ガス
の噴出を制御することができる。１２はインジエ
クターで液化ガスと空気を燃焼に必要な割合に混
合するところである。１５はバーナーで、この部
分より液化ガスと空気の混合ガスを触媒１６の中
に均一に噴出するようになつている。１７は点火
プラグで圧電素子１８により励起された電圧で火
花を飛ばし混合ガスに点火する。まず操作レバー
１９を操作すると混合ガスが触媒１６中に噴出す
ると同時に圧電素子１８に操作レバー１９の力が
加圧力２３を介して加わり点火プラグ１７に火花
が飛ぶ。この火花により混合ガスに点火し、混合
ガスが燃焼を始めると、燃焼により生ずる熱のた
め触媒が加熱され反応に十分な温度となり、以後
混合ガスは触媒により安定した状態で燃焼を続け
る。触媒による燃焼は炎燃焼よりも安定していて
かつ完全燃焼に近く、燃焼ガス自体もクリーンな
ものである。燃焼の熱は熱板７に伝えられ、熱板
７を十分な温度まで上昇させる。熱板７は小さい
ものであるため、点火から熱板が蒸気を発生する
のに十分な温度である120℃〜150℃にまで達する
には数秒しか要しない。その後、滴下ボタン９を
操作することにより水の滴下孔８より水が熱板７
上に滴下され、蒸気が発生するのである。この間
に要する時間は10秒以内であり、従来のものに比
較すると非常に迅速である。また、フエイシヤル
マスク内の空間に満ちた蒸気２５は、顔とフエイ
シヤルマスク２１およびフエイシヤルマスク２１
の外周に取付けられたシール材２２により囲ま
れ、フエイシヤルマスク２１内の蒸気２５の温度
は次第に上昇して、美顔器として必要な温度と蒸
