Abstract
PURPOSE:To allow an inspection personnel to confirm the deviation of a reference horizontal synchronizing oscillation frequency easily by visual observation by generating a signal of the normal reference horizontal synchronizing oscillation frequency and a special signal stepping up and stepping down the frequency, generating a 3-stage of special video signals based on the special signal and sending the signal while being switched sequentially. CONSTITUTION:A special video signal generator 1-2 generates three stages of video signals in response to each signal having frequencies of reference horizontal synchronizing oscillation frequency fH, reference horizontal synchronizing oscillation frequency fH+100Hz, fH+200Hz... fH+lkHz, fH-100Hz, fH-200Hz... fH-1kHz and the 3 stages of special video signals are switched sequentially by using a gate pulse to output at an output terminal of the signal generator. The signal is used as the base band video signal or the RF video signal by an RF modulator 2 and it is fed to a television receiver being an object of inspection. Thus, the inspection personnel checks the state of the display screen in the 3-stage display by visual observation to confirm whether or not the reference horizontal synchronizing oscillation frequency is deviated thereby reducing the check time.
