Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent magnetic characteristic due to a distortion of assembling a wound core from deteriorating and to obtain a transformer which can be protected against a damage by sequentially inserting heat-treated thin magnetic strips having a bonded part in a core support of L-shaped or U-shaped section and inserted into a coil to assemble the wound core. CONSTITUTION:Core supports 1 and 2 respectively have U-shaped sections and insulating plates. An assembly of a wound core 5 and coils 3, 4 is provided by manufacturing in advance the coils 3, 4, inserting the supports 1, 2, butting the supports and securing them. A plurality of 1-turn cut type amorphous magnetic thin strips shaped in a wound core state and heat-treated with bonded parts are inserted into the U-shaped sections of the supports 1, 2, sequentially laminated along with the inner walls of the supports 1, 2, the bonded parts are butted to form a closed magnetic path, and the wound core 5 is associated. Thus, mechanical distortions applied to the strips can be reduced, and the supports 1, 2 have strip protecting or reinforcing effect.
