Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a low noise operation to control the generation of an electromagnetic sound offensive to the ear due to resonance by operating an invertor with harmonic current frequency avoiding the mechanical resonance frequency of a structure. CONSTITUTION:The number of switchings per unit time is detected through the variations of control plugs ftau and fphi by a switching frequency detector 714. The variations of switching frequency is averaged by a block 715, and a mean valueSW of switching frequency is found. Accordingly, both an allowable error (a hysteresis value) phi of a hysteresis comparator of the magnetic flux of a block 711 and an allowable error (a hysteresis value) T of ternary hysteresis comparator of torque of a block 712 are controlled variably. Thus, a low noise operation can be done without producing any resonance state.
