Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the distortion of conduits, to enhance the operability of connection machineries and to easily mount said machineries, by constituting a connector of two male and female members and providing a freely rotatable property and sealability to the connection parts of said members without using an elastic packing. CONSTITUTION:In order to impart a freely rotatable property and sealability to the mutual connection parts of male and female members 1, 2, an annular edge like projection 4 is provided to the male member 1 in the vicinity of the central part thereof so as to partially bite in the corresponding part of the inner diameter part of the female member 2. Further, in order to avoid the difference in level of the inner diameter at the mutual connection parts of the male and female members, the connection parts are brought to inclined overlap connection 5. In order to reduce the force liable to interrupt the rotation due to friction, an O-ring 6 and other annular sealing material 7 may be together used in the space between a projection part 4 and the base thereof to increase sealability. When the female member 2 is not limited to a tubular one and a box-shaped perforated one is used, a branching/angle imparting direction can be altered and the female member can be fixed and supported and, further, said member is formed into a valve shape to be made usable as an opening and closing or liquid amount control valve.
