Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate to investigate a trouble with few hardwares by collecting only information unable to read by a micro-program by scanning a service processor (SVP device). CONSTITUTION:A controlling part 101 in a main body processor 100 actuates an error processing micro-program at the time of generating a trouble and stops the main body processor 100 after a request code is set to a specific register 102 on the program. An SVP device 110 reads the contents of the specific register 102 with a signal 107 from the controlling part 101, and collects a part of trouble information including information unable to be read by the micro-program through a scan interface 106. After the completion of the collection, the main body processor 100 is re-actuated by sending a signal 108 from the SVP device 110 to the controlling part 101, and remaining information 103 are collected to a temporary storage area 104 by the micro-program.
