Abstract

PURPOSE:To effectively utilize fly ash with high value added in the production of a zeolite compsn., by blending and kneading the fly ash with an aq. NaOH soln. having a specified concn. and by treating the kneaded material in an autoclave under a specified pressure. CONSTITUTION:Fly ash is blended and kneaded with an aq. NaOH soln. having 0.5-3N concn. and the kneaded material is treated in an autoclave under >=3kg/cm<2> pressure to produce a zeolite compsn. The fly ash can be utilized for an adsorbent, a water purifying agent, etc., with high value added.
