Abstract

PURPOSE:To form a contact type image sensor which is of ultra-miniaturized type, unnecessary for optical adjustment, and has high picture quality by arranging absorbers in arbitrary positions to subtract only the prescribed length from an end part of optical fiber arrays, facing an original. CONSTITUTION:Absorbers 5, 5... for preventing light leaks are inserted into clad parts 4 between respective optical fibers 3a, 3a.... The absorbers 5, 5... are of hybrid type which is arranged in an arbitrary position to subtract at least a prescribed length(l) from an end part 3c facing the original of optical fiber arrays between respective optical fibers 3a, 3a... and the irradiation of the light from an LED array light source 2 to an original 1 is attained.
