Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to smoothly continue slip control by use of a normal one of a drive wheel brake means and an engine output regulating means by changing over the operation of the abnormal one into the other normal one upon detection of abnormal operation of one of these means, and by lowering the reference drive wheel speed upon detection of a slip. CONSTITUTION:A means M5 sets a reference drive wheel speed in accordance with the speed of a vehicle body which is detected by a vehicle body speed detecting means M1, and a drive wheel speed detected by a drive wheel speed detecting means M2 is compared with the reference drive wheel speed so as to detect an acceleration slip. Further, a drive wheel control means M3 and an engine output regulating means M4 are operated to control acceleration slips. When means M6, M7 detect abnormal operation of one of the means, a change-over means M8 changes over the operation of the abnormal one into the normal one so as to lower the reference drive wheel speed. The normal means continues the control of acceleration slips while the reference drive wheel speed is lowered so as to lower the amount of a variation, thereby it is possible to continue smooth slip control.
