Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a coated part with a required mechanical strength and improve the adhering property of the coated part after heat and light tests, by a method wherein stylene thermoplastic elastomer composition, blended with specified softening agent, is employed as the material of the soft resin coated part of an injection molded form. CONSTITUTION:An injection molded form consists of a resin inset 1, a soft resin coated part 2 and a coating film 4 for finishing the coated part. The resin insert 1 is made of polyolefin and the coated part 2 is formed by stylene thermoplastic elastomer composition, constituted of the base of styrene, ethylene, butylene or styrene block copolymer and prepared by softening agent so as to have the hardness of Hs(JISA) 20-50. In this case, polybutylene having the number-average mol.wt. of 700-2,500 or about 800-2,000 preferably is used as the softening agent. As a result, the soft resin coated part 2 is provided with a required mechanical strength, a predetermined soft feeling may be obtained and the adhesive property of a coating film 4 after heat and light tests may be improved.
