PURPOSE:To prevent the wear of the tip of a scraping blade and to improve the durability of the blade by forming the inner surface of a shell plate with austenitic stainless steel, and forming the tip of the scraping blade with precipitation hardened stainless steel. CONSTITUTION:The inner surface of the shell plate 1 provided with a heating jacket 2 on its outside is formed with austenitic stainless steel SUS 316L, and at least the tip of the scraping blade 3 to be brought into contact with the inner surface of the shell plate 1 is formed with precipitation hardened stainless steel 17-4pH. A raw liq. is supplied from a liq. supply pot 7 provided on the shell 1, the evaporated material is discharged from an evaporated material outlet, and the deposit on the inner surface of the shell 1 is scraped by the blade 3 and discharged from a lower hopper 10. The Vickers hardness of the blade tip in the continuous operation is kept at 120HV which is equivalent to the Vickers hardness of the inner surface of the shell, hence the durability of the scraping blade is improved, and the frequency of exchange can be reduced.
