Abstract

PURPOSE:To always stably keep the internal pressure of the body cavity constant, by operating a suction means based upon the detected internal pressure of the body cavity for a definite time by a suction control means and automatically reducing and controlling the internal pressure of the body cavity. CONSTITUTION:Set pressure is compared with the detected pressure due to a pressure detector 16 in a CPU 25b and, when the detected pressure becomes higher than the set pressure, a suction tube 14 communicates with a suction means 15 for a definite time and the air in the body cavity is sucked through a forceps channel 11 to reduce the internal pressure of the body cavity. A definite time length during which said sucking (vacuum) operation is performed is stored in the memory 25c of a microcomputer, however, the sucking operation time length thereof is different by the input signal during the time from a suction mode setting means 22 to an input/output interface 25a. That is, the vacuuming operation is performed for 1sec when the setting of a suction mode is a high mode and only for 0.2sec when a low mode.
