Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable a high deceleration ratio to be obtained at a small type by providing at an input shaft a cam portion pushing out in a diameter direction part of the annular gear portion of a cylinder member, and providing at an output shaft a gear portion having the different number of teeth and meshing with this annular gear portion, and arranging this output shaft on the same axis as the input shaft. CONSTITUTION:An input shaft (rotor) 8 is rotated, and the gear portion (internal tooth gear portion) 20 of a flexible cylinder member 18 is pushed out in a diameter direction by means of the cam portion 12 of this input shaft 8. The gear portion 20 thus pushed out is made to mesh with the gear portion (external tooth gear portion) 32 of an output shaft (rotary body) 30 provided on the same axis as the input shaft 18, and at the same time, these meshing portions are moved one by one in a circumferential direction, and the rotation of the input shaft 8 is decelerated at a high deceleration ratio and transmitted to the output shaft 30 according to the ratio of the tooth number difference of gear portions 20 and 32 meshing mutually. By arranging the input and output shafts 8, 30 in this way, the axial size of a decelerator is shortened, and the whole can be made small, and at the same time, a high deceleration ratio can be obtained.
